Weather: 23 f, 16mph wind (s) "feels like": 5 f
Miles: 3 miles
Route: 8th to Wilson
Afterward: Not as cold as Saturday, but it still makes me wonder why I run in this weather (whine, whine, whine)
Listened to: First story of This American Life "Star-Crossed Love"
Fine run…just a bit nippy. The segment on TAL was about a high schooler in Chicago who visits his dad in Iraq…and then Desert Storm happens and he is drafted as an Iraqi soldier, gets captured and then falls in love with Monica (an American soldier).

Way too cold

Saturday, 18 February 2006

Weather: 5 f, 13mph wind (s) "feels like": -14 f
Miles: 1 mile
Route: Berkey Hill (well, I made it to the Shaklin foot bridge)
Afterward: Cold, cold, cold…shouldn't even tried to run in this weather
Listened to: Beginning of This American Life "Star-Crossed Love"
Dumb run…way too cold and now I want to crawl back in bed.

Ah, but this was the beginning.
